Everything! This was our third time in Port Douglas and we’ve all wanted to stay in Peppers and we are so happy we did. The pool area is obviously the standout. Plenty of shade and also sun loungers available. Very family friendly. The check in experience was great. The Irish girl at reception made us feel very welcomed and was very helpful. Location is great as it’s only a short walk to the restaurants, shops and beach. Our room was very spacious and it overlooked the pool area. It was also very quiet at night and dark, so we slept well. Breakfast was better than I was expecting, after reading some negative reviews; good selection of cereals and fruits and eggs your way avail to order.

I liked the professionalism of the staff, they were very accommodating, made sure and did everything possible so we could enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean, well maintained and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having a window wall that could slide to open up to the patio and deck. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed the private deck from our room. The beach was a very short block from the back entrance (maybe 100m at a stretch) and the city is a 5 minute walk to the shops.

The staff were not only a credit to the property but a credit to themselves. They were bright, friendly and respectful. As a retired hotel manager I know it’s increasingly difficult to put together a crew of this caliber. More training would be good, however I think this may already be in place. Well done everyone. Location was fantastic. 2 shorts blocks to shopping and restaurants. 1 block to patrolled surf beach. Staff were super-friendly.

The room was great on the top level and had separate sitting room, bed room and kitchen/lounge room. The location of the accommodation was a short stroll to 4 mile beach and a 10 min walk into the main town. The lagoon pool was fantastic and is the star of the resort! It was our favourite part and our daughter loved it.

We loved the access to the pool. We were given an upgrade which meant we were given an extra unit. This gave lots of space with our active grandchildren.

Lovely small resort feel and quite luxurious. Lovely comfortable rooms, cocktails, food and drinks available at pool bar / restaurant. Staff were nice and rooms very clean and comfortable. Underground parking useful and cool during hot weather. Port Douglas generally is a very nice place and a lovely town with high standards visible everywhere. Concierge brought all of our luggage to room andntou do feel.looked after here. Very close to the beach.

We liked the location. Walking distance to the town and 4 mile beach. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The pool was very nice. Our return flight home wasn't until late that day and checkout was at 10am. We were able to get a 11am checkout and able to use the pool, meals area and store our luggage there until we were to be picked up later in the day.
